    Second, if n = k and 24 = n=k, then sum = eln x = x (the base of log is taken for granted as e !)

    Sir, the derivative of a function is the fractional change in dependant variable with respect to an independent variable. So if the derivative is zero that means there is no change in the dependant variable. y1-y2 = 0 for two values defined at x1 and x2. So how can we define a tangent at such a point since it could be at any of the point x1 or x2 ?
